La Base Gráfica, a brand created by Salomé Ortega, is much more than a print shop; it's a vibrant illustration and graphic design studio. Here, Salomé produces her own artwork and design products using hand screen printing and other artisanal graphic processes. Her creations stem from continuous experimentation with printing techniques and simple forms that inspire her: animals, travel, domestic life, plants… These elements are transformed into a free, abstract, and independent universe of form, rhythm, and color.
La Base Gráfica's commitment to ethical production adds unique value to each piece. Salomé Ortega ensures that every work stands out not only for its creativity, design, and quality, but also for the sustainable and collaborative processes involved in its creation. This includes working with local professionals, raw material suppliers, artisan workshops, and local businesses, utilizing the most readily available resources to minimize environmental impact.
This project was born in Valencia in 2010 as a printing workshop and gallery focused on graphic experimentation and training that continues its passion for artistic creation and graphic design.
Purchase "Colors of the Mediterranean" and bring home an exclusive piece of art that reflects the beauty and spirit of the Mediterranean, created with dedication and ethical commitment.
