BIBENDUM MICHELIN, Print on vintage paper. 28cm x 19cm // 11" x 7.5".

The illustration is a reinterpretation of the famous advertising character for the French tire brand Michelin, Bibendum (also known as the "Michelin Man"). The artist, Miguel Ángel Aranda, originally created the drawing in graphite pencil on paper and then printed it on original pages from the publication La Petite Illustration from the years 1900 to 1950, intervening by hand with white ink on each print to create a unique graphic work on each sheet.

The drawing comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity printed on adhesive paper so it can be affixed to the back of the frame. The print is on original paper from the French publication La Petite Illustration and is numbered on the back to match the certificate number.

The artwork is carefully wrapped before shipping and is sent from Valencia, Spain, with registered mail and tracking number provided. This piece is part of the artist's classic drawing series.
