Based on real facts. All the papers and photos belonged to Mateo Tadeo, a character in the story.
Years 1940 to 1997. Mateo is assigned to Valencia, where he works as a lithographer. It is installed in the house of Mrs. Ana Berruti. An Italian woman who rents her two rooms at Calle Cádiz 36, Puerta 10, in the Ruzafa neighborhood. Installed in the house with another tenant and Mrs. Ana Berruti, Mateo embarks on this new stage of his life. As the years go by, Mateo remains the only tenant. Mrs. Ana Berruti is an older woman and begins to have health problems. In 1947, Ana Berruti left a written will in a letter stating that in the event that due to her delicate state of health she suffered a fatal outcome, she leaves Mateo Tadeo the use and enjoyment of the home and her belongings for having taken care of she as a mother. Mateo takes care of Ana until her death, taking care of the entire burial and paying on time and every year, the costs of Ana Berruti's niche. Mateo will continue to reside in the house as the sole tenant, while it is passed from hand to hand. He continues to receive Carolina's correspondence on time, to which he responds with the same punctuality, inviting Carolina to visit him whenever she wants. Invitation that Carolina accepts.
